Banda MS recently had an outstanding show at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, TX. The Latin Grammy nominated band turned to Global Productions to provide the lighting and video production, with gear from Mega Systems, Inc.
Global Productions Owner Adrian Gallegos and Co-owner Daniel Martinez made the video wall the focus of the stage. 36 Dicolor BAT M1-391 LED Display panels created a large screen that was hung behind the band for showing graphics and music videos. To display content, Gallegos ran the wall with the RGBlink Venus X1 switcher scaler.
Overhead and above the stage, Gallegos filled the platform with a variety of moving heads. 24 Axis Beam 7R fixtures provided bright aerial beam effects and dynamic movement. Gallegos loved the output of the Axis Beam 7R fixtures because they have a lot of intensity that is great for larger arenas. To enhance the mood, Gallegos color washed the stage with 16 XLED 3007 from PR Lighting. And, accent lighting was added with 12 Mega-Lite Axis Cyclops fixtures. The endless pan and tilt and single 4.5º lens created eye-catching effect that made for an exciting show.
With over 100 pieces of gear used to equip the stage and a fantastic performance from Banda MS, Gallegos’ vision for the production turned out just like he imagined.
