Helotes, Texas- Ridgefield Playhouse located in Ridgefield Connecticut recently hosted a concert with Leslie West of Mountain as the main act, and special guest Eli Cook. Although they were the main acts, what helped them shine were the 12 XLED 3007 from PR Lighting and the eight MEGAlite baby color Q70s that were used.
The XLED 3007 is a small unit that houses 7 X 20W LEDs (RGBW 4 in 1) to produce a pure wash field and a beam ranging from 7° to 42°. It also has single LED control, touch keys for the menu and wireless DMX control. This particular unit produces a punchy beam for its size. Aside from containing individual pixel control for creating eye-catching effects, you will also get the benefit of an endless pan and tilt rotation with this unit. A perfect light for production as it was applied at the Ridgefield Playhouse.
Along with the XLED 3007, the MEGAlite Baby Color Q70 was also used to make this concert a complete success. This is an ultra compact sized bright color changing fixture. It is equipped with Seven 10 Watt LEDs and less than a 5” square body. Containing an RGBW quad-chip LED helps the picture produce a wide range of color which connects well with the strobe, macro, and dimmer effects. With a digital display designed for ease of use and a double mounting yoke, the Baby Color Q70 can be set up on the floor os hung from a structure, which works perfectly for a kind of concert such as this.
Together both of these fixtures from MEGAlite and PR Lighting helped produce a concert that was a complete success by RKE Productions Inc.
